We are here to help – our aim is to support people in the UK that are suffering from food poverty and we are looking for more bone fide recipient groups and charities that help people in need.
We have to have a rigorous vetting procedure, but as long as your organisation is able to ensure that the food is eaten on your premises and you are confident that you handle food in a safe and wholesome manner (ideally according to food hygiene certification), we would be delighted to hear from you.
We currently supply food to a wide range of beneficiary organisations, from groups with a client base as small as eight, right up to open-door drop-in centres which deal with 300 people a day; we also work with numerous schools’ ‘Breakfast Clubs’.
We will work with you to ensure that the foodstuffs we supply to you are suitable and appropriate to your group and then we will arrange for a regular delivery service to you using our refrigerated vehicles.
We will consider applications from potential recipient organisations outside our delivery area on the basis that the beneficiaries will come to our depot to collect food for themselves. The food made available for collection will depend on the type of vehicle used to collect the food from us.
