emerge has been Manchester’s biggest player in recycling schools’ waste in Manchester since 2004. Currently we provide a service to nearly 35,000 pupils in Manchester.
We collect a range of materials and provide exciting workshops to educate children about the 3Rs – reduce, reuse, recycle.
After CRED funding ceased in March 2007, emerge has created the Sponsor a School Programme to enable schools to continue to receive recycling services and educational workshops, all thanks to local business contributions.
Businesses will be able to:
- Involve themselves in a campaign that supports their local community.
- Assist Manchester’s schools to continue recycling and receiving workshops
- Improve their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) outputs.
- Tackle Climate Change by training their staff to reduce overheads and carbon emissions.
